For my current project, I use the Laney for acoustic shows and the Spectra or Peavey set-up for electric shows.
If it is a particularly large venue with the need for a lot of sound, I utilize the speaker cabinet from the
Libra (see below) which contains 4 12" speakers for high and mid-range delivery, and the Peavy cabinet
containing the single 18" speaker to deliver a heavy low-end sound. The Peavy Amp has two output
outlets so there are no fancy wiring tricks to contend with and a crisp, soild sound is achieved without
having to raise the volume to uncomfortable levels.

They all stack neatly upon each other so I have not had to build any special boxes so the original
sound of the cabinets is clean and uncompromised. The Peavy 150 Watt head seems to power both cabinets
with ease, although I am considering purchasing a new Ampeg or SWR head with more power or perhaps a
powered amp to use in conjunction with the Peavey head, depending on my future needs.

A BIG Ol' shout out goes out to Mark McMillan, bassist and founder of The National Pastime
and my bud and ex-bandmate Jason Smith for their invaluable advice and technical expertise in
helping me achieve a fabulous sound!!
